Can you believe that this blog is one year old today? It feels like I have been doing it forever. I know I only have a few faithful readers, but I enjoy writing for the blog. It is kind of cathartic for me. Students have not been as big a part as I imagined, but that can be a goal for the future.
TCAP testing is going well. I have been immensely impressed with the effort the class has put into the tests. It is not easy sitting there trying to focus and think hard for two hours, but they are doing it! I am sure they have been exhausted at home. We have two days left and then it is over for another year.
Don't forget the LCO meeting one week from today. Mrs. Ward and I plan to send a note home tomorrow. Look for it!
Well, thanks for checking in and reading the blog over the past year. I hope that I will be able to keep it going so that all of my students can come back and check in, even after they hit the doors of middle school. Thanks again and have a great week!

Happy 1 year anniversary on the blog. KEEP IT GOING! You have inspired me and I try to make it part of my ladies' class routine. This year is almost over! I truly hope that Kyla will be in your class for 3rd grade (and 4th grade if you continue to loop.)
By the way - the nephew is a cutie!
